JOHANNESBURG – You’ve heard of the My Most Beautiful Kid competition, well now your favourite four-legged friend could help you scoop R50 000.
Running alongside the My Most Beautiful Kid competition is the My Most Beautiful Pet competition.
The competition aims to celebrate the country’s fur babies, and from all the funds raised by voting, a portion will be donated to Tears Animal Rescue, a pro-life non-profit organisation based in Kommetjie, Cape Town. The organisation rescues and re-homes lost, abandoned and abused animals, as well as providing sterilisations and medical care to animals in underprivileged communities.
Joining in the search for this year’s My Most Beautiful Pet are two celebrity judges, former Miss SA finalist, Vanessa Haywood-Sandes who is an avid animal lover, and animal activist and singer, Louise Carver. The two have come on board to assist with the difficult task of crowning the winning pet ‘the most beautiful’.
Start snapping pictures of your gorgeous furry friend, create a profile on the My Most Beautiful web page and upload the best picture onto www.mymostbeautiful.com. Get your family and friends to vote via SMS, and you could stand the chance to win the grand prize of R50 000. However, that’s not all … there are cash prizes ranging from R1 000 to R15 000 for the rest of the top 10, and spot prizes for a few lucky voters.
Entries and voting for My Most Beautiful Pet close on 9 September and winners will be announced on 16 September.
