Bookings open for Rand Aid’s Annual Golf Day
JOBURG - Bookings have opened for Rand Aid’s Annual Golf Day which takes place on 18 September at Modderfontein Golf Club in Johannesburg.
According to Rand Aid, last year’s winners Nick Matzopoulos, Reg Combrink, Marius Fourie and Wim Pieterse have signed up to compete again at this year’s event and are hoping to bag another win.
The popular golf day attracts a full house each year and offers many sponsorship opportunities for corporates. In addition, by entering, local businesses can enjoy a morning of networking on the greens.
The event boasts a shotgun start with a halfway house, dinner and a prize-giving ceremony. The event is not only entertaining and offers a lovely day out on the course, but also helps the 112-year-old non-profit organisation to continue its good work in supporting the less fortunate, and the frail and elderly residents in its care.
The community is urged to book well in advance to secure a four-ball or to inquire about co-sponsoring the event, a hole or prizes.
