According to Sergeant Nurse Sanyane of Norwood police, a domestic worker noticed the suspects attempting to break into the property and called Community Active Protection (CAP).
Sanyanesaid, “A domestic worker who was on the property alerted CAP when she saw three unknown males enter through the gate. CAP arrived and managed to apprehend three suspects. The police arrived shortly afterwards and arrested and detained the suspects.”
According to Sanyane, a firearm was confiscated from one of the suspects.
She said, “We would like to thank CAP for their rapid response and for their co-operation with the police.”
According to Sanyane, the males are to undergo an identity parade before facing charges of housebreaking in court.
