BREAKING NEWS: Police foil hijacking of tobacco delivery vehicle

YEOVILLE - Six suspects have been arrested for hijacking a British American Tobacco vehicle that was delivering cigarettes.

Six suspects have been arrested for hijacking a British American Tobacco vehicle that was delivering cigarettes in Newtown.

The police received information about suspects hijacking the vehicle that was delivering the cigarettes. Police pounced on the suspects who were busy offloading the cigarettes at the corner of Arthur and Mons Streets in Yeoville.

Two vehicles were recovered from the scene, a Toyota Quantum and a Toyota Corolla.

According to Constable Thabo Malatji of Yeoville police station, the six suspects have been arrested in connection with hijacking the British American Tobacco vehicle.
