Hospitality courses to be held

PARKHURST - COURSES in cooking, baking and hospitality are now being offered at the Parkhurst Recreation Centre.

The next cooking and baking course has been scheduled to start on 4 July and will run for four consecutive Saturday mornings starting, from 9am to 12pm.

Students enrolling in this course will get the opportunity to cook and bake a variety of delicious winter dishes.

Depending on the demand, the above course is also scheduled to run on Thursday mornings.

Students can also choose to do an intensive short course in catering and tent-draping skills, which is suitable for anyone considering starting up their own small catering business.

This course will start on Sunday 5 July and is scheduled to run for six consecutive Sunday mornings starting, from 9am to 12pm.

This course will include basic cooking and baking skills, menu types and costing, advertising, marketing and business plans, basic table setting and tent draping.
