Food and music paired in heaven
MIDRAND – With a chilly winter ahead of us, Gauteng Opera’s Forté will be helping patrons at Ristorante La Trinita keep warm with a fantastic food and music pairing.
Forté, which consists of Khumbuzile Dhlamini, Phenye Modiane and Kagiso Boroko, once again teams up with pianist Paul Ferreira to entertain guests with great hits from Mariah Carey, and duets from The Phantom of the Opera and Cats.
All of this goes down as guests dine on a mouth-watering three-course Italian dinner that reflects Italy’s most traditional elements of food and culinary style.
La Trinita was a finalist for the BASA Awards last year due to the work they did with Gauteng Opera. The restaurant is also very proud of the fact that it has been chosen as one of 101 best places to eat in the world.
All profits raised at the food and music pairing will go towards further developing artists of the Gauteng Opera.
It’s all happening on 17 June from 6.30pm at Ristorante La Trinita, Kyalami Downs Shopping Centre.
