Roach spotted at Hooters

JOBURG - In the midst of restaurant and fast-food scandals, there is a yet another restaurant franchise joining in on the awful action.

It was reported that on Saturday night, 13 June at 9pm, an employee of Caxton Media House was enjoying a meal with friends at Hooters in Fourways.

It was at that time that the group spotted a sizable cockroach running across the floor of the popular franchise.

The sighting was, however, not reported to the manager on duty, Byron Tridelhorn, at the time.

City Buzz contacted Mac Chikza, one of the managers at Hooters.

“We have people come in to do pest control once a week, to spray the place and twice a week if we have an infestation,” said Chikza.

“We had people in last week Friday and we have the invoices from every visit that they make to the restaurant to spray the restaurant.”
