Henley Business School shoots up the rankings

PAULSHOF - Henley Business School has received the highest ranking of any business school operating in South Africa for their customised executive education programmes in the prestigious annual United Kingdom Financial Times (FT) Executive Education Survey.

Dean and director of Henley Business School Africa, Jon Foster-Pedley, said the school’s rating in this category has shot up over the past year from position 50 last year to position 29 this year.

“This bares testament to the work we are doing as a worldwide organisation and how we are successfully positioning Henley’s custom programmes in South Africa and into the rest of Africa. It puts us firmly in the top 1 percent in the world,” he said.

The survey was conducted with business schools with a worldwide presence, taking into account the number of international institutions as well as participants. It included detailed feedback from Henley’s South African clients.

The criteria used to rank the schools covered the business school’s teaching methodology including programme design, teaching materials, new skills and learning facility diversity, aims achieved, facilities and preparation, as well as female participants.

Henley’s MBA is triple-accredited by the three major international accreditation agencies AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB. As a global benchmark for executive education, the rankings rate the top 50 business schools globally by combining delegates’ and companies’ views of open and custom programmes.

Business schools provide the details of a number of top clients who are then asked to complete an online survey.
