Hyde Park High’s matric dance impresses

HYDE PARK - HYDE Park High School brought some culture with a tinge of youthful exuberance to the Indaba Hotel when it hosted its annual matric dance.

A Japanese garden was the theme, with a plethora of magnificent foliage bringing some colour to the event which was organised by the hard-working matric dance committee.

Spokesperson for the school Avril Wright said, “The venue was magnificently decorated with an abundance of cherry blossoms, orchids and bamboo to create an Eastern wonderland.

“The pupils were magnificently dressed in formal evening wear and looking so grown up for the occasion. The Hyde Park High class of 2015 now have the year ahead to focus on their studies and prepare themselves for their end of year finals.”
