An operation carried out by the SAPS Crime Intelligence unit on Davidson Street in Norwood has resulted in a major drug and contraband haul worth over R100,000.
It is believed that the intelligence unit was following up on information which led them to a house in Norwood. The house was searched and a large consignment of Dagga and Cocaine were found as well as illegal cigarettes.
According to Sergeant Mduduzi Zondo from Hillbrow SAPS, the illegal cigarettes had a street value of about R6,300 while the Dagga and Cocaine had an estimated street value of about R150, 000.
Three suspects have been arrested.
