JOBURG - Nedbank brings the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival back to South Africa for a day of fun, sun, music and mouthwatering tastes from around the world.
HOMEGROWN TALENT: Siba Mtongana puts her cooking to the test at the Food Network Pavilion at the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival.
The festival is one of the most anticipated food and music events of the year, and has also been known to host some of the best chefs and musicians from around the world.
This year, the headlining act of the event is none other than the Queen of Funk herself, Chaka Khan.
Other acts included in the line-up for the event include ‘Little’ Louie Vega and Drizabone, alongside local music acts Vusi Mahlasela, Muzart, The Muffinz and DJ Unathi Nkayi.
There will be live food demonstrations and exciting cooking showdowns at the Food Network Pavilion by Food Network celebrity chefs Reza Mahammad, Siba Mtongana and Jenny Morris, in addition to Celebrity MasterChef SA judge, Peter Goffe-Wood who will host the Delicious Restaurant.
The Delicious Market is a feast of cultures set to take you on a taste journey across the globe.
The festival is putting up an international spread on the local Jozi map, with street food inspired and influenced by the diverse cultures and experiences of the people who create the delicious dishes.
Not only will guests be able to experience the best in gourmet food, but also some proudly South African cuisine – because what is a food festival without a shisa nyama?
This year the festival will be held on 6 June at the Waterfall Polo Estate in Midrand from 11am.
