The FAB Quotient book launch

PARKVIEW - The launch of a new book entitled The FAB Quotient, which focuses on emotional and physical resilience, will take place at Croft on Tyrone Avenue, Parkview, on 27 May at 5.30pm.

Authors Joni Peddie and Celynn Erasmus have joined forces to write a book to help others improve their health and wellness.

Their aim is to offer practical solutions to the challenges of high stress and low-energy living and illustrate to readers a simple and effective way to take charge of low energy.

Peddie is a human behaviorist and founder of the Enneagram Institute, which offers personal development training. While co-author Erasmus is a registered dietitian and international speaker. The book focuses on helping individuals fight fatigue, banish brain fog, be more authentic and balance their weight.

“We understand the foibles and weaknesses of overworked citizens and use our unique blend of behavioural science and practical tools to help people navigate their way back to good health and vitality,” said Peddie.

According to the authors, the ‘quotient’ explained in their book is the result of leveraging three key elements of wellness that result in personal well-being, health and happiness.

The three essential elements include:

  • Fuel, from feeding the body with the right nutrients
  • Activate, by using neuroscience and exercise techniques to stimulate both the brain and the body
  • Behave, through regulating thoughts and actions to improve the quality of personal and professional relationships.

The content offered in The FAB Quotient includes practical tips, assessment tools and links to videos. There are also articles on health, wellness, disease. productivity, resolving work life balance issues and how to lead a happy, mindful and purposeful life.

Both the book and support processes are intended to help people to shift their energy and ignite behaviour changes which, according to the authors, is the absolute key to success.

Peddie said, “No amount of advice in the world will make an impact if your behaviour constantly sabotages your progress.”

Erasmas said, “There isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. We do not promise to provide the one magic bullet for success, but we do help each individual find their own path to achieving their goals, and this is what The FAB Quotient is all about.”
