Police dogs sniff out heroin, dagga

HILLBROW - Metro police together with Hillbrow police and the assistance of patrol dogs arrested five men on 20 May.

 

Four men were arrested for possession of heroin and one suspect was detained for possession of dagga.

Metro police spokesperson, Wayne Minnaar said, “Five male suspects have been arrested when patrol dogs sniffed them out.”

Sergeant Mduduzi Zondo of Hillbrow Police Station said the suspects were arrested on the corner of Nugget and Peterson streets.

The street value of the heroin was about R3 000 and the dagga R1 000.
