According to spokesperson of Parkview police Lloyd Ramovha, “Wendy Parker and Katlego (Kat) Mohoaduba handed themselves in at Parkview Police Station on 12 May, after a case was laid against them by Ndala for assault.

“We can confirm that the two accused handed themselves in at Parkview Police Station this afternoon. The two were released on a warning, and will appear at the Hillbrow Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 15 May.”

In a meeting held on 12 May, Mzansi Magic was informed by producers of Diski Divas, Connect TV, of a decision to terminate the participation of Mohoaduba and Parker in the show with immediate effect.

The Diski Divas stars have since received a lot of backlash from viewers about their unacceptable behaviour, with some viewers accusing the soccer wags of staging the fight to gain ratings.

Chway Madikane @JustNqaba said, “So disgusting that the camera man didn’t stop shooting. It’s clear that they are after ratings.”

In a statement released about the Diski Divas interview on Kaya FM, managing director, Greg Maloka said, “… Kaya FM does not support any form of violence against women and children, the Kaya FM team intervened immediately to protect those who were at risk.”
