One dead, another critically injured after N3 accident
LINKSFIELD - One person has died and another has sustained critical injuries in an accident on the N3 North before the Linksfield exit on 10 May.
ER24 has said several others have also sustained minor to moderate injuries during the accident.
It is understood that a taxi broke down and stopped on the highway, with some of the occupants in the taxi climbing out. A bakkie then drove past and collided with the taxi. A woman who was standing close to the taxi was knocked and was declared dead on the scene by ER24’s paramedics. Another woman was critically injured.
Other people who were still in the taxi sustained minor to moderate injuries. They have been transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
