Casual Day: Save the date

JOBURG - The Casual Day organisation invites one and all to save the date and put 4 September into their diaries.

Casual Day is owned and managed by The National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa and managed to raise R28 million last year. This year, they are looking to better their record.

The 2015 campaign kicked off its activities with the arrival of the stickers from the printers during the week of 27 April. This means shoppers will soon see the stickers at tills around the country at Edcon stores.

Schools, organisations and corporate entities are urged to put in their bulk orders for stickers as soon as possible – and put the date on their calendars.

The theme for this year is ‘Spring into Action’. This means anything representing spring on the day is good to go. This would include birds, bees, blue skies, colours of the rainbow, the blossoms on the trees and the mint hue of new leaves.

This year, the organisation will produce five different collector’s stickers, each with a different image. Avid supporters can then wear a bouquet of stickers to celebrate their commitment to improving the world for persons with disabilities.
