Woman at Work hosts motivational talk at Lyndhurst Primary School

LYNDHURST- Woman at Work Foundation, an organisation that empowers women in the work place, hosted a motivational talk at Lyndhurst Primary School on 24 April.

A number of guests attended the event in order to give a motivational speech to the pupils of the school in order to express that their potential should not be limited to their culture, language or religion.

Michael Phillips of Lyndhurst Primary School said, “Students need to follow certain steps and listen to the guests as they have achieved success through hard work and dedication.”

First princess of Miss South Africa, Refilwe Mthimunye, addressed the pupils on how she overcame difficulties in her life and how she was able to succeed despite harsh conditions faced.

MMC of Public Safety, councillor Sello Lemao said, “You start from the bottom and work your way upwards. There is a process when it comes to succeeding and it requires hard work and dedication.”
