Life Never Explains book launched

ROSEBANK - Life Never Explains is the title of Alfred Tirelo Lephoi's new memoir.

HOST on Radio Today, Alfred Tirelo Lephoi recently launched his new book among close friends and acquaintances at the Circa Gallery in Rosebank on 22 April.
Entitled Life Never Explains, the book reflects on his life journey, born in what he
describes as an forgettable mining village in Mostwana, then running away to pursue his dreams in Johannesburg.
The book also touches on his experiences with addiction, passing through hostels for the homeless, and receiving support and kindness from strangers.
Lephoi provides an honest account of his struggles and hardships.

The former journalist made his way into the media industry by blogging for The Times.
At the book launch, Lephoi stated he wrote his memoir from a comical point of view, despite the anger and frustration he felt.

He made it a point to omit a sense of self-pity in his memoir. Lephoi thanked various members of the local community and acknowledged all their encouragement which ultimately resulted in the publishing of his book through the Everard Read Gallery.
