The crimes range from theft, assault, malicious damage to property, driving while under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs, possession of unlicensed firearms, perjury contravention of the immigration act and shoplifting.
Constable Thabo Malatji of Yeoville police said, “All criminal activity is not tolerated by Yeoville Saps. We will do all in our power to book those who believe they can break the law.”
Most of the suspects are expected to appear in the Hillbrow and Johannesburg Magistrates’ courts soon.
