Rand Show 2015 doesn’t disappoint

JOBURG - Running for more than 100 years, the Rand Show returned for its 2015 exhibition and with such a varied programme of activities to take part in, attendees were not at all disappointed.

The Rand Show 2015 ran from 3 April to 12 April and showcased a number of organisations and exhibitions that no doubt took away the breath of all those who visited.

One of the main attractions of the one-week long extravaganza were the exhibitions held by the South African National Defence Force.

The defence force set up their equipment and machinery including machine guns, army helicopters and tanks for visitors to get a close up view.

There were different themed stalls with one catering for visitors’ fashion and accessory needs, another dedicated to solely food and crafts, and even one dedicated to the exhibition of each government sector.

The show also offered the residents of Gauteng some awesome experiences.

Visitors were able to book a flight on a helicopter and even live the life of a stunt man by jumping from a stupendous height into a giant airbag.

The show also presented its guests with a cultural experiences like never before with Portuguese food stands and music performed by a native Red Indian.

Not forgetting the beautiful, buff and toned bodies who showcased themselves for large crowds in the Extreme Bodies Competition.

With so much on offer it was a wonderland of entertainment for people of all ages.
