Learn all about the Gift of the Givers at book launch
SAXONWOLD - GIFT of the Givers is a well known and highly reputable non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded by Dr Imtiaz Sooliman in 1992.
Since then, the organisation has gone on to become the largest and most effective disaster response NGO of African origin.
Gift of the Givers travel to some of the most desolate parts of the world, responding to floods, war, famine, tsunamis, kidnappings and earthquakes.
Their contribution is offered without religious prejudice or judgement and is focused on serving those in need.
The Gift of the Givers motto is ‘Best among people are those who benefit mankind’.
Join Sooliman as he presents the story behind this organisation at the launch of the book Imtiaz Sooliman and the Gift of the Givers – A Mercy to All by author Shafiq Morton.
The event will take place on 14 April at the Museum of Military History, 22 Erlswold Way in Saxonwold.
Guests are requested to arrive at 6pm for 6.30pm.
Tickets cost R200 per person, and part of the proceeds will be donated to Gift of the Givers.
