UPDATE: McDonalds stay mum over fly eggs in chicken nuggets
STRIJDOM PARK - A McDonalds customer has taken to social media, after finding what appears to be fly eggs in her chicken nuggets.
UPDATE: 10 April 2015, 10:30am – City Buzz also contacted the manager who was on duty at the time to find out what measures have been taken to compensate the customer.
He said that he was unable to comment on the situation, and that it was a matter to be discussed with McDonald’s head office.
Head office is unavailable for comment until Monday.
INITIAL REPORT: Yolandie Botha O’Conner posted on her timeline on 1 April 2015, stating that her mother had brought nuggets from the fast food outlet.
“My mom brought it on her way home. It’s disgusting!!!! I am going to make sure to name and shame this fast food outlet!” posted O’Conner.
She said the fast food outlet was based in Strijdom Park.
