Hotpod Yoga takes over Greenside

GREENSIDE – Hotpod Yoga officially launched in South Africa, bringing you a calming and transformative space to relax and burn a ton of calories.

Nick Higgins, Max Henderson and Daniela de Bruyn have collaborated to bring South Africans a first-of-its-kind yoga experience – for yogi’s of all ages, shapes, sizes and levels.

Higgins and Henderson, the inventors of Hotpod Yoga, have a total of 10 years of yoga practice between them and saw a gap in the market for a unique and mobile space to practice yoga, that also indulges the senses in a calming ambiance.

The hotpods were created in such a way that they are able to activate all senses during the workout – created in a darker colour to promote calmness, humidifiers to encourage weight loss and music in the background to create a soothing and un-intimidating environment.

“The pod itself is a very curious thing and people are quite curious about it,” explained Henderson.

In addition, what they are offering is not your regular yoga experience, but a special form called Vinyasa Yoga.

The classes, which are held exclusively at the Greenside Theatre, are headed by de Bruyn, South Africa’s own yogi.

The hotpod, which is not available for purchase, is a product that provides a service to the public and creates a space that would encourage the practice of yoga more widely in South Africa – by allowing versatility to yoga instructors to be able to set up the pods anywhere.

This unique experience is available to all and you can book your class in Joburg or Pretoria by going to www.hotpodyoga.co.za
