Gear up ladies

ROSEBANK - CYCLEZONE Rosebank launched its gear up girls programme on 18 March.

According to Nadine Visagie, sports scientist and studio manager, the programme will officially kick off in April, and is aimed at professional and non-professional cyclists.

“The programme is designed for non-cyclists simply seeking improved fitness and weight loss, through to serious cyclists seeking performance gains,” she said.

Visagie explained that the programme is indoors and group based, tailored to each individuals’ desired goals.

“The lab combines cycling, strength and conditioning, nutrition and testing in CycleZone’s performance lab, and uses science and technology to help clients achieve their fitness goals,” Visagie explained.

Visagie said the programme was aimed at woman only as the ‘cycling’ industry was male dominated. “We want to attract more females,” she said.
