Police received a complaint regarding a break-in at a business and launched an investigation into the matter.
With assistance from members of the public who witnessed the robbery, the police were able to identify three suspects. Two women and a man were found to be in possession of stolen items from the business.
Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville police said, “We thank the community for coming forward and assisting us in making the arrest of the three suspects.”
The suspects are due to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrates’ Court facing charges of robbery and possession of stolen property.
