Meet your new Miss Veet 2015

PARKWOOD – The Four Seasons Westcliffe set the beautiful scene for the finals of the Miss Veet SA 2015 competition and it was definitely a sight to behold.

The Miss Veet SA 2015 pageant saw more than 3 000 entrants this year, which is an astounding 1 500 more than last year – reflecting the success of the competition over the three year’s that it has been running.

Veet ambassador and former Miss South Africa, Melinda Bam said, “Being the Veet ambassador, I know that this is a truly remarkable brand to represent – one that stands for femininity, confidence, strength and above all fun.”

Empowerment of women was the main cause of the day, with contestants frequently expressing that they would use the platform of Miss Veet SA 2015 to help women young and old.

“It is absolutely amazing to be part of a brand that is really so empowering and inspirational and allows women to really feel comfortable in their skin and comfortable being a woman, and being celebrated on a daily basis.”

Just when the Top 10 finalists for Miss Veet SA 2015 thought it was safe and judging was over, organisers flipped the script and subjected them to interviews done by the members of media who were in attendance.

The category awards were based on the interviews conducted right before the reveal of the winner and this no doubt added more suspense to the situation and electricity in the atmosphere.

In the end, it was Odirile Sepeng who won the coveted title of Miss Veet SA 2015, as well as a R200 000 prize package which includes an exciting shopping spree and a position with Boss Models modelling agency.
