Yeoville police make an arrest in cold-blooded murder case

Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville police said, “The Yeoville police conducted an extensive investigation after the murder took place and a suspect was taken in for questioning. Two of his firearms were confiscated in order to conduct ballistic tests. The tests revealed that the victim was shot by one of the suspect’s firearms. We would like to thank the investigating officer for all of his hard work resulting in the arrest.”

The man is in his early 40’s. The suspect was arrested and detained at the Yeoville Police Station. He is expected to appear at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court soon facing a charge of murder.
