The footage obtained by Eye Witness News shows an overcrowded bus driving along a road in Johannesburg North, with people hanging out the door.
It was reported that the incident was photographed within the last week. The news organisation said the footage had been sent to Metrobus, however the transport company said drivers had been instructed not to overload busses.
The footage comes after another Metrobus driver lost control of his vehicle on Queens Elizabeth Bridge, Johannesburg. The driver sustained minor injuries during the incident.
