UPDATE: Body found at Zoo Lake
ZOO LAKE - Body discovered at Zoo Lake earlier this morning.
UPDATE: Parkview police have confirmed that the body found at Zoo Lake is that of a woman, believed to be in her late forties.
On 6 March at around 8am passersby discovered a body near the bank of the lake, the police and Johannesburg Emergency Services were called to the scene.
Parkview police spokesperson Lloyd Ramovha stated that the deceased had no visible injuries.
“No motive [has been] established [yet]. An inquest docket has been opened and we await post mortem results to assist us with further investigations,” said Ramovha.
