The Yeoville police were conducting a routine stop and search when they noticed the man acting suspiciously. The police searched him and found him to be in possession of the drugs. The suspect was arrested and detained at the Yeoville Police Station.
Constable Thabo Malatji of the Yeoville police said, “We are doing our utmost to rid the streets of drugs and other illegal substances. We are sending out a warning to the public. If you are caught in possession of any illegal substances you will be brought to book.”
The suspect is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court.
