Europcar SA cycling team announced
JOHANNESBURG - THE Europcar SA cycling team has been announced for this year.
“We feel confident that the guys will do well in this promising season launch and deliver great performances,” said George Corbett, Europcar SA divisional executive for shared services.
The full team line-up includes captain Bradley Potgieter, Ryan Gibbons and Willie Smit, along with returning members Stuart Fitzpatrick and James Fourie, and new signing Kent Main.
“Bringing on talent is one of the core missions of our business and we pull that through to this sponsorship as well, backing both young riders and the Road Cover-Europcar Academy,” said Corbett.
He added that this year the company would be adding an U23 track academy of six riders to their junior and U16 categories.
