A woman was allegedly robbed at gunpoint on 14 January at around 2pm in Parkhurst.

Security company Cortac confirmed the incident and said the woman was approached by a male suspect on a motorbike who pointed a gun at her while she was at her vehicle. She was reportedly robbed of her watch, ring and other valuables.

Cortac was alerted when one of the store owners pushed their panic button. The suspect then reportedly fled in the direction of Craighall Park.

Staff at Polly Potter’s Toy Store said the woman had shopped at the store and was accompanied by her son. Staff members said they did not witness the incident and were only alerted when the woman called for help after the suspect fled.
