Ossendryver is not only a top-achieving pupil, but a successful young conservationist and youth leader. At 15, he established Latest Sightings, a website that helps wildlife enthusiasts log their sightings in the Kruger National Park, and provides a platform for like-minded people to share their passion for a holiday in the bush.
Latest Sightings has taken Ossendryver from strength to strength, winning several awards including the Jewish Young Achievers Awards and the first LeadSA youth award, and being voted one of the world’s Top 20 most influential teens. The website has even seen its creator meeting the likes of Barack Obama, Kingsley Holgate and top executives at Microsoft and Nokia.
As a pupil, Ossendryver contributes to school life as a tennis player and a musician, but his most favourite place remains the South African bush.
