Good news for RHA

ROSEBANK - Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, Rosebank Mall has once again invited Zinto Zinhle to trade their wares at the shopping centre.

Zinto Zinhle is the sewing project of the Rosebank Homeless Association (RHA). They produce bags, aprons, skirts and other sewn goods which make ideal Christmas gifts.

“We have always enjoyed the patronage of Rosebank Mall and are delighted that the renovations are at a stage which makes it possible for management to allow the project to once again sell directly to the shopping public in the mall,” said RHA chairperson, Mrs Judith Briggs. RosebankMall also provides space for the Zinto Zintle sewing workshop.

Rosebank Mall has a drop-box for used or new clothes for the homeless. It is generously supported by the public. The RHA distributes the clothes to the homeless in the Rosebank area and further afield. Children’s clothes are distributed through Bokomosa, an off-shoot of the RHA, which keeps the children of Homeless Talk vendors at creches instead of on the streets.

To donate your used and new clothes you can contact Judith Briggs, chairperson of RHA on 011 447 3501 or on 082 883 0294.
