VIDEO: Thieves break into ‘secure’ Hyde Park complex

HYDE PARK - A group of three skilled burglars showed how easy it is to break into even the most secure complex when they were caught on camera.

The three, dressed in jogging gear, putt up outside of the gate and park their car. They then take about four minutes to silently cut the electric cables that power the magnets that hold the gate closed, as well as the hinges on the gate.

Complex robbery

As a cyclist passes, the three pretend to be doing exercise, to reduce suspicion.

Once inside, the burglars attempted to steal a Land Cruiser, but were unsuccessful.
