JOBURG - Sci-Bono Discovery Centre will host a major competition.

On 5 and 6 December, Sci-Bono will host teams from around the country in the finals of the global phenomenon that is the First Lego League Challenge. In this robotics tournament, teams of children build, test and programme an autonomous robot to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game.

In the 2014 FLL World Class Challenge, over 230 000 children from more than 70 countries competed and now it’s South Africa’s turn.

Visitors who go to the centre on these days will pay no entry fees.

The Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is situated on the corner of Miriam Makeba Street and President Streets in Johannesburg.

Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
