Pikitup clutters street

ORANGE GROVE - Local community members are outraged as Pikitup collections leave their streets in disorder on a weekly basis.

An angry resident of Orange Grove sent photographs to the North Eastern Tribune after waste collection left 11th Street, in Orange Grove, in disarray for weeks on end.

According to the resident, Pikitup waste removers, who collect rubbish bags in the area every Wednesday, regularly leave wheelie bins overturned and the street and pavements covered in refuse. An employee from a local business is left to sweep the street and restore it to order, said the irate community member.

Pikitup did not respond to requests for comment on time of publishing.
