Community liaison officer needed

LOMBARDY EAST - Development facilitation organisation, Community Innovations is seeking to appoint a community liaison officer as a new construction project unfolds in Lombardy East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a spirit of mutual trust and co-operation between all roleplayers involved in the project, as well as liasing between the employer, residents and the contractor throughout the building process. He or she will also be expected to compile a database of labour and small to medium enterprises (SMMEs) available in the local community, as well as facilitating sourcing of these entities.

The candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate, be computer literate, have experience in community development and/or construction projects and leadership roles, and be a South African citizen residing in Lombardy East. Applications should be accompanied by a letter of motivation, full CV, and a certified copy of the applicant’s Grade 12 certificate.
