The Parktown Association goes social
PARKTOWN - The Parktown Association is pleased to announce the launch of its social media presence.
In this modern age, the association recognises the need to be able to communicate more efficiently with the residents and other interested parties in and around Parktown.
To provide relevant mediums for two-way communication, leading to a greater sense of community for the suburb and its residents,
they have launched a Facebook group and a Twitter profile. The association encourages all interested parties to join the group and follow the Twitter feed and to use it for all, and any, matters relating to making the Parktown community safer and a more wonderful place to be.

Social media is an invaluable medium for sharing security information, noteworthy community notices, finding out if your neighbours have water or electricity outages and a myriad other uses.
