Birdhaven Annual General Meeting
BIRDHAVEN - The Birdhaven Rate Payer's Association will be holding their annual general meeting on 17 November.
The meeting takes place at 5.30pm for 6pm at the Bellavista School Auditorium on Wingfield Avenue in Birdhaven.
The main topic of discussion will be the degradation of the James and Ethel Gray Park. Local government organisations have been approached to restore the park.
Pickitup have undertaken an environmental impact assessment in order to remove the recyclers to a designated spot near the dump. City Parks has promised to mend the fences and lock the gate near the gazebo and Norwood police in conjunction with security company 7Arrows has promised to visit regularly to evict vagrants.
