His upcoming performance at The Venue, Melrose Arch, will feature songs rearranged to fit a stripped-down format for guitar, bass and percussion.
Event promoter Jeanette Odgers said the acoustic shows Clegg was currently performing around the country allowed him to connect with his audiences.
“He explains some of the songs – how and why they were written,” she said.
“He will also play some new material as well as throw in the odd cover of some songs that have influenced him over the years.”
Clegg’s two studio albums, When I Wake Up, and Life on Mars, have made him a platinum-selling success in South Africa.
Earlier this year, he performed 32 shows in 31 cities across the United States and Canada. He also performed on the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival in the United Kingdom.
