Baby lion dies at Joburg Zoo

Online reports suggest that one of the three baby lions acquired by the Joburg Zoo has died.

This comes after the Johannesburg Zoo was suspended from the Pan African Zoo Association, after the death of a group of Sitatunga antelope which were brought into the country without the necessary documentation.

EWN has reported that the lions died due to unknown reasons, and that tests were underway to determine the cause.
