SA cricket partners up with Rolux
ILLOVO - Cricket South Africa announced its partnership with SA Leisure at a breakfast at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium.
The partnership will see two of SA Leisure’s major brands, Rolux and Big Jim become official partners to Cricket South Africa and the Proteas.
According to the CEO of Cricket South Africa, Haroon Lorgat the partnership will see cricket unions around the country benefiting as Rolux lawnmowers and other stadium maintenance equipment will be made available to ground staff.
“We are very proud to associate ourselves with SA Leisure – a partner with a staff of passionate people who enjoy the game of cricket,” said Lorgat.
“Rolux is not only a great product, but also as a partner, is a great fit for Cricket SA. We are pleased and look forward to a very long and fruitful relationship.”
Lorgat said cricket as a sport was in a good space in South Africa and that the association was looking to produce a new generation of players.
“Just like this partnership, Cricket SA is all about making smart moves and as long as we keep moving, we will never stay behind,” he said.
SA Leisure CEO, Haim Orlovik, said both brands were proud to be associated with Cricket South Africa and were excited to make the sport more accessible to the masses.
For every lawnmower purchased at retail price during the month of November, Rolux will donate R10 to the Movember Foundation.
