Meet author James Scott

MODDERFONTEIN - The Friends of Modderfontein Library invite community members to meet author James Scott for a morning of coffee and books.

Author John Larn, who writes under the name James Scott, will join readers at the Modderfontein Library on 31 October for a morning of coffee and book signing.

Larn, who lives in Johannesburg, wrote his first book, The Sweaties, on the Rhodesian War and the police, having served in the Rhodesian Police (British South Africa Police) until 1980. His second publication, The Digit of Destiny, is a crime novel and it was published this year. Copies of both books will be available for sale, and Larn himself will be signing copies.

Refreshments will be served from 9.30am and a discussion with Larn will begin at 10am. Members of the public are welcome to attend the event. No booking is required.
