BREAKING NEWS: Robbery suspect bust in Craighall

According to a CSS reaction officer, who asked not to be named, he and his colleagues were driving through Craighall when they spotted two suspicious vehicles speeding out of Alexander Avenue.

“We rushed to see what was happening, and that is when we spotted a young man running out of one of the properties after throwing a pair of gloves and a crowbar outside the yard,” he said.

The officers gave chase and caught the man who they detained before police arrived on the scene.

An ADT reaction officer arrived soon afterwards to check the premises as it was suspected people could have been held up in the house during the robbery.

After inspection, the officer confirmed no other suspects were on the premises and no one had been hurt or held up.
