Three men arrested for housebreaking
Bramley police arrested three men in connection with a housebreaking in Bramley North on 4 September.
According to police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, the victim told police that all doors and windows were closed and locked when she left her house.
He said, “The complainant received a call from her security company alerting her that her house had been broken into. Upon arrival, she found the guard outside and when she inspected the house further, she realised that the window to the main bedroom was broken with a stone that was lying next to it.”
Maphakela added that when the victim went to the police station, she identified her son’s camera among other things recovered by the police from the suspects.
Warrant Officer Eric Mathye and Constable Evans Nkandi made the arrests.
Maphakela said the trio appeared in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court on 8 September.
