Crack your knuckles Zebra and Giraffe is coming

JOBURG - From Cape Town to Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Pretoria, Johannesburg and Potchefstroom, this September local band Zebra & Giraffe is taking over South Africa.

The band’s new album Knuckles is part of the extensive tour across the country in September and October, to introduce fans to their new sounds.

The eight-track album is a powerful reminder of why Zebra & Giraffe have twice been awarded the South African Music Award for Best Rock Album (2008 and 2014), as well as the MTV All Africa (2009) award for Best Alternative Band.

The first single off the album, I’ve been bad was released in August. It’s produced by Grammy-winning engineer Darryl Torr and mixed in Los Angeles by Mark Needham who has worked with The Killers, Imagine Dragons and Fleetwood Mac.

The accompanying video for the new single was directed by Ross Garrett.

On top of this Zebra & Giraffe is currently hailed as one of South Africa`s finest live acts as proved by these raving reviews for their performance at Oppikoppi Odyssey 2014.

Johannesburg can get ready for the band, when they take over the Hard Rock Café at Nelson Mandela Square on 23 October. There will be no cover charge for the show.
