Sandwich Baron delivery bike stolen

A motorbike used for Sandwhich Baron deliveries was stolen on Oxford Road in Illovo on 22 July.

According to police, the delivery man had parked the red Honda motorbike on the street during one of his runs when it was stolen.

Bramley police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said the delivery man put his helmet in the white delivery box before securing it with a padlock.

“The complainant said he took his key from the ignition before going inside the building, then minutes later, the man came out and found the bike had been stolen,” said Maphakela.

Inside the delivery box were the victim’s driver’s licence, traffic register and two more orders that had to be delivered.

Police have appealed to anyone who may have information on the incident or the whereabouts of the motorbike to come forward.

Earlier this month, a white Isuzu bakkie parked close to Atherstone and Rudd roads in Illovo was stolen.
