Rosebank librarian moves to Linden

Theunissen has been transferred to the Linden library where she will replace Wendy Pote who also worked at the Rosebank Library, and is now retiring.

According to Judy Stockill of Friends of the Rosebank Library, the informal tea held on Mandela Day was an opportunity for the club members to thank Theunissen for her support during her tenure.

She in turn thanked Stockhill and the group, and said she would miss them and hoped they would continue their support of the library under the new librarian.

Friends of the Rosebank Library meet monthly to review newly published books bought with the proceeds of a monthly book sale.

The next book sale will be on 31 July and people are encouraged to donate books and magazines to the Rosebank Library.
