Some of the organisation’s staff members walked 6.7 kilometres which was organised by CAP, beginning at the Mandela Houghton home at 6.30am.
While another group, together with Chai FM personalities, planted a vegetables outside the radio station’s offices and a vegetable garden outside the ORT SA offices in Houghton later in the day.
The organisation did not limit activities to Johannesburg, as two staff members also travelled to Qunu to present the “Bill of Responsibilities” children’s game to a group of children at the Nelson Mandela Museum’s library where children’s books are being collected for the library.
